An evening in Siem Reap. What to do!

Siem Reap is a place that comes alive at night. From flashing signs, $0.50 beer and the hustle on the night markets. Although all of the streets are screaming happy hour, there are a few catchment areas that are far busier.

Pub Street

Pub Street is the place to be if your searching for a great atmosphere. Most bars offering $0.50 beer along with 2 for 1 cocktails and beverages. Along with the music and beers pub street also offers an abundance of restaurants. From $3 meals to $20 BBQ’s there is something for everyone. If massages are what your after you will find possibly the cheapest massages in South East Asia. For just $1 you can enjoy a 30 minute foot massage or $2 for a body massage. Some would say its the best street on the planet.

Angkor Night Markets

Siem Reap is filled with night markets. The Angkor night market is filled with over 200 bamboo huts. A great handcrafted market offering silk paintings, stone carvings and products made from recycled materials. You can enjoy local Khmer food, music and its always happy hour. The night market is on daily between 16.00 – 24.00.

Angkor What?Bar

Angkor What? Was the first bar on Pub Street. It has been the home to many tourists since 1998. Standing out with its unique signage which reads ‘promoting Irresponsible drinking since 1998’.Serving a variety of cocktails, shots and beers from just $1, its no wonder its a hit.

Siem Reap Art Centre Night Market

Taking a stroll across the river and you end up in Siem Reap Art Centre Night Market. Take in the sights of the bridges covered in lights. The Art market brings to you a selection of hand made crafts. From talented painters, crafts men and hand stitched items. The variety of affordable Art is endless. Always remember that you need to hard bargain and you will be leaving with some quality products at a fraction of the price.

Located opposite the Old Markets just a 5 minute walk from Pub street.
